The Ground Rules and Code of Ethics
Artists' Wellness Collaborative

Welcome to our Community of Care

It's an honor and a privilege to join with you for the greater good of each other and our community. We embrace Fair Process, which embraces clarity of expectation. Please carefully consider each of the following guidelines to understand what we are responsible for. If you have questions, do not hesitate to ask us for clarification.
1. All our services offer a money-back guarantee. If you're not satisfied with an aspect of our service, please email us so we may respond. We invite feedback so that we can constantly improve our offerings.
2. If a participant feels that participation in an activity may not be in their best interest, they are encouraged to let the instructor know quietly and leave the environment. Afterward, please contact us via email so that we may consciously attend to your issue with your presence.
3. All participation is entirely voluntary. The benefits are due to your effort, education, participation, and work. Our wellness and healing circles are not therapy, and we do not claim to be therapists.
4. Participation is done at your own risk. Our instructors are rigorously trained and supervised to ensure your safety to every degree possible. The Artists' Wellness Collaborative is not liable for any injury, theft, or damages.
5. Each participant is responsible for their belongings, safety, and well-being.
6. Please wear closed-toe, flat shoes at Jasmine Hill Retreat. Bring warm clothing for night events. Wear comfortable clothing, as it is an outdoor environment.

7. Because we are a family-oriented organization, and we sometimes invite our families to bring their children, no drug or alcohol use is permitted on our property or within our events. We do, however, serve organic cacao and ayurvedic herbs, (If you or someone you love struggles with any kind of addiction, we can direct you to many community resources).

8. Persons suspected of being under the influence of drugs or alcohol will be discreetly asked to leave our property.

9. All Artists' Wellness Collaborative payments must be made online before participation. If you need to make a payment on the premises, you must do so 30 minutes before the beginning of our services, as the teachers do not have time to take your payment while they are teaching.
10. Please protect the privacy of others by refraining from photographing or recording during our events. Photographs will only be taken with express permission of participants.

11. Please expressly let us know if you DO NOT want to be photographed. We will inform our photographers of your decision, there is only respect for this wish.

12. Understand that those providing healing experiences are trained and certified, but are not physicians or licensed by the State. The treatment is alternative or complementary to healing arts services licensed by the state. Artistic expression, energy medicine, Cacao ceremony, yoga, and meditation are some of the practices we share. Ample evidence exists supporting the benefit of these modalities.

13. I agree to resolve any issues through Restorative Practices, ie, talking circles and restorative conferences. I agree to allow the group to repair harms and resolve conflict, rather than to involve outside governmental agencies or attorneys.
